Business Operations Specialist / Senior Business Operations Specialist
This position is a very crucial role in the organization, especially for a start-up environment. This role shall be very agile and a fast learner in multiple spectrums to support business growth. He / She should be proactive enough to identify gaps in different business processes, acts as a hybrid role to lead HR function, be a close business partner with Retail Excellent Lead and assists COO on various business operation spectrums.
Responsibilities
1. Business Operations- Work closely with store team on retail administrative management including petty cash management, stationery replenishment, new store opening / closing process and checklist ownership
- Work closely with COO and Retail Excellent Lead on visual merchandising execution, marketing / promotional material execution
- Support on corporate / B2B / wholesale business growth, manage supply chain order fulfillment, logistic compliance, sampling and QC process flow, and replenishment cycle management
- Manage monthly store rosters to ensure sufficient manpower support
- Act as a business partner with Head of Merchandise and give relevant support including but not limited to Shopify platform management, order fulfillment management, inventory accuracy maintenance across channels
- Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
- Work closely with Retail Excellent Lead to provide regular training to frontline staff to make sure the team delivers excellent service level and comply with brand standards
- Foster a fun but fully committed start-up culture through driving engagement activities and be the role model
- Focal person of recruitment for the brand based on company’s need, conduct interviews and make recommendations and offers
- Ensure the business needs are met in accordance with regulations, both local labor law and company policies
- Own HR admin function including but not limited to HR system management, employee database management, governance, and compliance practice management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in any discipline, preferably in Business Administration
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail industry
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Cheerful and willing to learn
- Good time management, determine priorities and able to make effective decisions
- Excellent entrepreneurial, problem solving and analysis skills
- Good team player, strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A self-starter who can work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
- Proficient in using MS Office applications
